Education Division
The education division aims to promote knowledge of and interest in impact investing within the Duke community. Each semester, we teach a half-credit course designed as an introduction to the impact investing industry as well as organize DIIG's Impact Fellowship program for new analysts. We instruct students on best methods of quantifying financial and social impact, guide them through case studies, and invite guest speakers from the industry.
OUR WORK
-
Impact Fellowship
All new analysts at DIIG are required to participate in the DIIG Impact Fellowship, a 5-week series intended to equip new analysts with the skills and information necessary to contribute towards DIIG's impact investing mission. The fellowship helps our analysts to develop an understanding of the impact investing industry, such as current and future investment evaluation, impact analysis, and impact quantification.
-
House Course
Our Impact Investing House Course is open to all Duke undergraduates and can be taken for credit. The House Course is offered every semester and is one of the most popular courses offered.
